My experience with Carson was disappointing. While he was friendly, the process involved a number of classic “car sales” tactics that felt misleading. I was told in advance that there might be room to bring the price down, but once I arrived, I was told that wasn’t possible… until I said I was prepared to leave. The visible price history also contradicted claims that the vehicle had been priced as low as possible from the start. It was also not disclosed until after I had completed the paperwork that I would only be receiving one key fob, despite being clear about my budget and the fact that there would be two drivers. Over the past two months, I’ve made repeated attempts to contact North Bay Hyundai to obtain a second key fob and cancel maintenance plans I agreed to at the time of purchase, but I’ve received no response. While I’m happy with the car itself, the sales and post-purchase experience has been extremely frustrating.
