Disappointing Follow-Through Despite a Friendly Start My experience working with Viktor at Hyundai started on a positive note. He is energetic, approachable, and genuinely kind, and he made a great first impression when welcoming me and showing me the car. Unfortunately, that initial enthusiasm did not carry through to the details that matter most in a vehicle purchase. We had specific discussions about the exterior and interior colors I wanted. Yet on the day we agreed that I would pick up the car, he brought out the wrong vehicle entirely. His explanation was that he hadn't realized another salesperson had sold that car in the morning of my pickup date. For a purchase of this size, that kind of oversight is hard to excuse. This was not an isolated issue. On several occasions, Viktor told me he would take care of specific items, and I relied on those commitments. When I followed up, I found they had not been done. I ended up texting him repeatedly just to check on progress for tasks he had already promised to complete. A customer shouldn't have to manage their salesperson to get through a transaction. While Viktor is a pleasant person, I cannot recommend working with him, nor with this dealership. Responsibility for this experience extends beyond one salesperson: a sales manager should have processes in place to ensure commitments to customers are tracked and honored, and that clearly did not happen here.

Great, very relaxed and informative. I came in pretty convinced about getting a used Ioniq 5 and Viktor did a great job of showing me the options including new and leased. I hope all my experiences with North Bay Hyundai are equally positive.

Victor was patient and understanding when it came to our purchase because my wife and I had to decide between the hybrid they were selling and the all gas model being offered down the street. Victor stayed in touch via text and wasn’t too pushy but understanding and respectful about our needs. I would highly encourage anyone to contact Victor if you’re looking for a Hyundai or other used vehicle in their lot.
